Ella has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since graduating from Kootenay Columbia College in 2020. After gaining experience in multidisciplinary clinics, she went on to open her own practice in Nelson. In August of last year, she began a Master’s program in Occupational Therapy to continue expanding her education and skills.
Born and raised in the Kootenays, Ella is excited to be back home for the summer before returning for her second year of occupational therapy studies. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, running, paddleboarding, and exploring with her dog.
Her treatment approach combines deep tissue massage, Swedish techniques, myofascial release, and Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST). FST is a table-based assisted stretching technique that she can incorporate into treatments for clients who are interested. Ella has also completed continuing education in cervical spine and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) treatment.
Ella is looking forward to practicing back at home this summer and supporting the community in staying active and doing what they love.

This 60 minute follow-up session with our 2nd year student therapist focuses primarily on hands-on treatment. While less assessment time is needed than at your initial visit, we will still allow time for a brief check-in, reassessment, and post-treatment home care recommendations. Treatment is provided in a supervised clinical setting and tailored to your ongoing goals. **THIS TREATMENT IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REIMBURSEMENT THROUGH INSURANCE**
This 75-minute appointment with our 2nd year student therapist includes a comprehensive and thoughtful approach to your care. Approximately 15 minutes of the session is dedicated to health history intake, assessment, questions, and post-treatment debrief with personalized home care recommendations. The remaining time is hands-on therapeutic treatment tailored to your individual needs. This is a wonderful opportunity to receive attentive, supervised care at a student rate while supporting the development of a future Registered Massage Therapist. ***THIS TREATMENT IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REIMBURSEMENT FROM INSURANCE***
If you need that extra few minutes to really relax and get into your session, 75 minutes allows for that extra time!
If this is your first session, please not that your therapist will take approximately 15 minutes to go over your health history and collaborate with you to create a treatment plan that suits your needs. Your 60 minute hand's on session will begin after the assessment. This allows your therapist to gain a full understanding of your health history and any present concerns that you may have.
First Visit - 60 Minute Session Approximately 5-10 minutes of this session may be used for assessment and treatment planning. While I prefer to have a 75 minute session for the first visit, sometimes our schedules don't allow for it. If this is your first visit. please be very detailed on your heath history form in order to be as efficient as possible in your session time.
