These walk and talk sessions can take place at: Richcraft Recreation Complex (Kanata North), (Walter Baker Park (Kanata/Stittsville), Old Quarry Trail (Kanata South). Required first appointment. This parent-only consultation provides an opportunity to discuss your concerns, family history, developmental questions, and goals for support. The clinician will determine whether Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Counselling is the right fit and develop recommendations for next steps. Parents attend without their child.

This appointment is for those using Social Work private health insurance coverage. Please check with your insurance provider. It can be booked under the parent’s or baby's name. Please note that there is a $30.00 in-home service fee that is NOT covered by insurance.

For children and their caregivers. Sessions focus on attachment, bonding, understanding infant cues, emotional connection, and supporting the parent-infant relationship.

For new infant-feeding clients. Stephanie will travel within Kanata and Stittsville. Please book with Alona if you are outside of this catchment area.

For new clients seeking more information regarding our Rooted Beginnings Postpartum Wellness program. We ask that you verify your insurance coverage for social work prior to meeting.

Parent-only counselling and coaching focused on understanding your child's emotional needs, strengthening attachment, and developing strategies to support family relationships between in-person visits.

Services are provided within a supervised program model. Clinical oversight, assessment, care planning, and accountability are maintained by a Registered Social Worker.

*Please note the rate for this appointment will be increasing to $110.00 + HST as of July 1, 2026. Review of progress, implementation challenges, caregiver concerns, and factors impacting sleep goals. Includes ongoing recommendations, and care plan adjustments under the supervision of a Registered Social Worker.
