This appointment is for new patients to Optimal Function or you're already one of our awesome patients but you haven't been in to see us for more than three months (for a recurrent issue or a new and different issue requiring a full assessment). During this session a comprehensive history will be reviewed and an assessment of your functional movement patterns and abilities, mobility, strength and stability will be performed. From this a treatment plan will be developed with you and whenever possible initial treatment will also begin.
A 45 minute one-to-one follow-up Physiotherapy session. You've had your initial assessment within the past three months and it's the same issue. This is the standard follow-up session that allows us time to focus on necessary hands-on interventions and practice of exercises that you will also need to continue to work on at home.
A 60 minute one-to-one follow-up with your Physiotherapist. You've had your initial assessment and now you're ready to really commit and get down to work on the issues you face. The additional time afforded by this appointment allows ample and unrushed time to work with your Physiotherapist on your recovery.
