Ghislain Paré is a certified kinesiologist and osteopath with over two decades of experience in physical education, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from the University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM) and earned his Doctorate in Osteopathy in 2012. He is a proud member of both the RITMA Association and the Corporation des Praticiens en Médecines Douces du Québec (CPMDQ).
A former competitive weightlifter, Ghislain has participated in numerous training camps and competitions, cultivating a deep appreciation for the transformative power of physical exercise. His personal journey informs his professional philosophy: that true well-being arises from the harmonious integration of physical, mental, and social health. This holistic vision guides his work with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
Since 2007, Ghislain has practiced osteopathy and kinesiology in Montreal, later expanding to Longueuil in 2009. His dual expertise allows him to tailor treatments that address both structural imbalances and functional movement patterns, leading to optimal outcomes in pain management, recovery, and performance. His approach is rooted in precision, empathy, and a commitment to long-term vitality.
Ghislain’s career also includes a notable collaboration with Cirque du Soleil, where he worked with elite performers to design individualized training programs and support post-physiotherapy recovery. This experience deepened his understanding of high-performance demands and reinforced his belief in the importance of adaptability and resilience.
Now based in Alberta, Ghislain continues his clinical work at Sunshine Physio and Wellness in Cochrane, where he brings his rich experience and integrative methods to a new community. He is also actively pursuing Alberta teaching certification, with the goal of contributing to physical education in francophone schools across the region. Whether in the clinic or the classroom, Ghislain remains dedicated to empowering others through movement, awareness, and care.

Osteopathic care can support your child by helping with issues such as torticollis, digestive discomfort like reflux (GERD), colic or constipation, postural asymmetries, headaches, sleep difficulties, breastfeeding, asymmetrical movement patterns and more.

Each session involves a comprehensive assessment of the entire body and nervous system. For instance, in the case of back pain, I may address areas such as the ankles or the jaw, depending on the involvement of interconnected postural, myofascial, or neuro-muscular chains.
