TMJ therapy is a focused treatment designed to relieve tension and dysfunction in the temporomandibular joint, where the jaw connects to the skull. Tightness in this area can contribute to jaw pain, headaches, facial tension, neck stiffness, ear discomfort, and difficulty opening or closing the mouth comfortably. This treatment uses gentle, precise manual techniques to release tension in the muscles of the jaw, face, neck, and upper shoulders. In some cases, intraoral (inside the mouth) techniques may be used with gloves to access deeper muscles that cannot be reached externally. These techniques are always explained beforehand and performed with full consent. TMJ therapy is helpful for those who experience clenching, grinding, stress-related jaw tension, or frequent headaches, with the goal of reducing pain, improving mobility, and restoring more comfortable movement.
Clients remain fully clothed for this treatment. Please wear comfortable, stretchy clothing such as athletic wear or loose-fitting layers to allow ease of movement. Fascial Stretch Therapy is a gentle, assisted stretching technique performed on a treatment table that targets your fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles and joints) to improve mobility, reduce tension, and restore ease of movement. This treatment is especially helpful for: - chronic stiffness or tight muscles - stress and nervous system overload - limited mobility or joint restriction - athletic recovery and performance - postural tension from desk work - persistent aches that don't resolve with massage alone Clients often report feeling lighter, more open, and calmer afterward - both physically and mentally. This is performed by a Registered Massage Therapist and covered by extended health benefits.
The ultimate in restorative relaxation, the AromaTouch Techniques is used to: reduce stress, support a healthy immune system, support healthy inflammatory levels, and promote homeostasis. Developed by Dr. David K. Hill, this 4-step essential oil application is performed on the back, head, and feet, and is designed to activate your body’s 5 energy meridians, stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system promoting deep relaxation. The light touch and prescribed movements of the application differ from that of a traditional massage therapy treatment, but the relaxation and restorative benefits feel similar!
Reflexology is a massage that applies pressure to the feet, hands, and ears to promote relaxation and well-being. A session is booked for 60 minutes, however, please be advised that the session may only take 30-45 minutes. We reserve 60 minutes for you just in case.
