**BIO**
Jack is an experienced orthopaedic practitioner whose practice is heavily influenced by his past experiences as a former varsity athlete, varsity coach, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. His approach to rehabilitation has a large focus on exercise therapy and is geared towards providing clients with the knowledge and tools to manage their rehab outside the clinic.
Jack is a registered physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Jack completed his Master's of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto and is currently pursuing a PhD at McMaster University in the Kinesiology Department. Jack’s current research is investigating sensory and motor changes with those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. Jack also helps instruct courses within the Kinesiology department such as: Sports Injuries, Functional Anatomy, Fundamentals of Rehabilitation, as well as Exploring Movement & Posture. Outside of clinic and school, Jack enjoys rock climbing and finding new places to eat!

During the initial assessment the physiotherapist will ask you about your current symptoms, your health history, and your goals. Then, they will bring you through a comprehensive physical examination, which involves an analysis of strength, range of motion, sensation, reflexes, and functional movement. With the information gathered in the assessment the physiotherapist will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals of care.
An extended follow-up session is perfect if more time is needed for a re-assessment, treatment for more than one area, or additional therapeutic modalities. An internal exam may be performed during the follow-up depending on your symptoms and comfort level. Your practitioner will recommend this booking if you require a longer follow-up.

The physiotherapist will reassess you at regular intervals to monitor progress and adjust your plan as needed.
