Jackie is a dedicated Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)
specializing in trauma-informed care and Accelerated Resolution
Therapy (ART). With dual master’s degrees in Disaster and
Emergency Management and Counselling Psychology, she
combines academic excellence with lived experience.
Her time in the Canadian Armed Forces exposed her to the
realities of trauma, shaping her deep understanding of resilience
and recovery. As a consultant at healing and addiction centres,
Jackie supports individuals facing complex challenges,
including intergenerational trauma, racism, discrimination,
bullying, and marginalization. She has also worked extensively with
first responders, witnessing firsthand the transformative
effects of ART.
Jackie has become an advocate for the effectiveness of ART in trauma recovery. Her
compassionate approach empowers highly traumatized individuals, and fosters healing and
emotional well-being in a safe and supportive environment.
For those seeking expert guidance in trauma recovery, Jackie offers a path to renewed hope
through evidence-based care and personal understanding.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an innovative, evidence-based approach that helps you heal from trauma, anxiety, and emotional pain in as few as 1-5 sessions. Unlike traditional therapies, ART works quickly and gently by guiding your brain to process distressing memories through visualization and eye movements—without having to talk about your trauma. Why ART? Fast & Effective – Many experience relief after just one session. Gentle & Non-Invasive – No need to verbally process traumatic events. Versatile & Empowering – Works for PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, phobias, and more. Empowering and Transformative - it helps you thrive. By resolving the root causes of your pain, you’ll feel lighter, more confident, and ready to embrace a brighter future.
