Jade completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. During her studies, she conducted research in Pregnancy and Post-Partum and then later on Scoliosis. She also worked with varsity rugby and football. She has taken advanced vestibular training, is a GLA:D back instructor, ACL continuing education courses. She is also certified to do functional dry needling. Her treatment approach combines manual therapy and exercise with a comprehensive education to get you back to feeling your best. Currently, she also holds a research position focused on rural healthcare and vestibular care, works at multiple of the Edmonton hospitals and works at local sporting events. She has a special interest in ACL reconstruction, vestibular, concussion and pediatric patients. Outside of work she loves to play hockey, ski, and swim.

Concussions occur for a variety of reasons and symptoms can persist for extended lengths of time. This appointment is for all concussions except for those related to sport or ACTIVE motor vehicle collision and WCB claims.

Please note that this 30-minute assessment is for a single body part musculoskeletal (MSK) injury. This appointment is not suitable for concussion, vestibular, or PRI injuries, which require a 1-hour appointment. If you are unsure which appointment type you need, please contact the clinic directly. This will help us ensure we reserve the appropriate timeframe for your injury.

Postural Restoration Certified™ (PRC) professionals offer a unique approach to physical medicine called Postural Restoration®. This approach addresses underlying biomechanics which can often lead to symptoms of pain and dysfunction. All mechanical influences on the body that restrict movement and contribute to improper joint and muscle position are considered, examined, and assessed. Manual and non-manual techniques are utilized to restore proper alignment of the body while proper respiratory dynamics are considered. Treatment encompasses prevention and lifetime integration for long-term successful outcomes

Acute concussions are those that have happened LESS than 2 WEEKS from the date of injury. Sport Related means that the concussion took place playing your sport. You are required to provide the name of sport and club or association if applicable. .
