Jane is a registered physiotherapist who graduated with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2012 and has been working in the field of developmental paediatrics since. Jane is passionate about child and parent engagement and empowerment, proactivity and evidence informed care. Her goal is that all children and families are given the tools that they need to grow into healthy, happy and pain free adults. Jane has a passion for ongoing learning and is continuously seeking opportunities for further professional and personal growth. She has clinical experience and further education in the assessment, handling and treatment strategies for a variety of physical and developmental conditions from birth-18 years. Jane is a wife and a mom of two young girls!

This is a 4 week class for infants and their parents/caregivers who are looking for 1) strategies to support successful and happy tummy + floor time 2) information about infant containers- what and how to use in the first year 3) healthy hip and spine positioning and it's application when using wraps/carriers and floor sitters 4) strategies for prevention of plagiocephaly and torticollis. This class is appropriate for babies who are ~ 0-5 months of age. Each class is 60 minutes in length. Please enter your child's name when signing up for the class.
This is a 4 week class for babies 5/6m+ and their parents/caregivers who are looking for strategies and information to support sitting, transitioning and crawling. We will discuss containers, first footwear, standing and walking norms, and ideal sitting posture from highchairs and beyond. Each class is 60 minutes in length. Time spent supporting client goals outside of PT sessions- reports, phone calls with other providers, phone calls with parents, letters of recommendation, travel, etc
First appointment for new or returning clients who have not been seen in 6 months or more occurring in the community.
Follow up for those on an active treatment plan
This session is recommended for follow up sessions in which the full hour would be of benefit. Examples include: sessions that are completed collaboratively with another service provider, check in visits with 2-6 months between appointments, and sessions where there is expected to be significant updates to programming.
