A key passion for Janine is supporting individuals through focused care. She has received advanced training in oncology massage and post-mastectomy massage, and is dedicated to helping those affected by cancer and surgery find relief and healing through therapeutic touch.
In addition to massage therapy, Janine holds a 200-hour RYT certification in Anusara Yoga from Vancouver, B.C., and has studied various holistic health practices, including yoga, meditation, nutrition, and body mechanics. This broad training shapes her client-centered approach to wellness, which is educational, preventative, and focused on long-term rehabilitation.
Janine integrates lifestyle practices such as proper body mechanics, self-care, and mental health awareness into her treatments. She incorporates stretches and strengthening exercises into home care plans to help clients maintain good posture and overall health. With a slow and steady approach, Janine focuses on releasing chronic issues like trigger points, fascial restrictions, nerve entrapment, and knots. She is committed to helping each client live pain-free and feel empowered in their wellness journey.
Please note: Janine does not treat patients under the age of 18, as she does not have additional pediatric training.

Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage This treatment is focused on relieving chronic muscle tension, reducing stress, and addressing specific physical conditions or areas of discomfort. It targets the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue (fascia) using slow, firm, and sustained pressure especially over areas of tightness or trigger points. Techniques may include elements of Swedish massage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy. Deep Tissue massage is generally more intense than relaxation-focused styles, as it works into the deeper structures of the body to support long-term relief and improved mobility. You may experience some post-massage soreness as your body responds to the deeper work and begins the healing process.
Relaxation Massage is a lighter treatment, usually includes back, arms, and legs. It is meant for helping you to unwind, lower muscle tension, help alleviate anxiety and depression, improve sleep, increase circulation, lower pain, improve immune system function, and increase parasympathetic nervous system actions.

Rehabilitative/Therapeutic Massage is designed to address specific issues such as pain, injury recovery, or limited mobility. While hands-on treatment is a core part of the session, this approach places a strong emphasis on active rehabilitation. Sessions may include deeper tissue techniques or more indirect methods, depending on what your body responds to best. In addition to massage, you’ll receive personalized home care such as stretching, strengthening exercises, and movement education to support healing and restore function. This ongoing self-care component is a key part of the treatment plan, empowering you to take an active role in your recovery. Some post-treatment soreness is normal as your body adapts and heals.
