Jaskirat Cheema is a physiotherapist with a special interest in pelvic floor physiotherapy, providing care for both male and female clients. She also has experience treating a wide range of orthopaedic conditions.
She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Physical Therapy. Jaskirat has completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 pelvic floor physiotherapy training through Pelvic Health Solutions, as well as up to Level 2 of advanced orthopaedic training through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She is also trained in acupuncture and incorporates it into treatment when appropriate.
Jaskirat utilizes patient education, manual therapy, and individualized exercise programs to help her patients achieve their goals. She strives to empower her patients to improve their function and achieve optimal and lasting outcomes.
In her free time, Jaskirat enjoys going to the gym, hiking, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.

Please wear/bring shorts and for women a regular bra instead of a sports bra. it allows for me to assess and treat the sides under your armpits. Please make sure to fill out your intake form as Connect Therapy takes everything (injuries, events and sports) into consideration that your body has been through. We will then assess your body for it's driver and determine the part of your body "driving" your symptoms. There may be time for a short treatment.

This is your initial assessment for our kinesiologist to test your range of motion, strength and ability to move throughout your daily activities.

For new patients, this will include a detailed assessment followed by a one-on-one treatment accustomed to your needs if time allows. The assessment is based on a holistic approach called The Connect Therapy Method. I recommend to book 1-2 follow up appointments (30-45 minute Subsequent Visit) to ensure you can start your treatment program in a timely manner. If these follow up appointments are not needed you can cancel them with the 24 hours notice to avoid a short notice cancellation fee.
