Jean-Luc is a Registered Physiotherapist with a Master of Physical Therapy from Western University and an Honours Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. With a lifelong passion for movement and sport, Jean-Luc competed in judo throughout his childhood and adolescence, which continues to influence his interest in active rehabilitation and physical performance.
He has completed advanced training in musculoskeletal care, including Level 1, Level 2 Upper Quadrant, and Level 2 Lower Quadrant Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal certifications. Jean-Luc also provides dry needling and has additional training and experience in the assessment and treatment of TMJ and jaw-related conditions.
Jean-Luc takes an active and individualized approach to physiotherapy, combining education, targeted exercise, manual therapy, dry needling, and other treatment techniques to help patients better understand their condition and feel confident in their recovery. He enjoys working with patients to create clear, achievable goals and helping them return to the activities that matter most to them.
With a background in strength and conditioning, Jean-Luc brings a practical, exercise-focused approach to rehabilitation, recovery, and performance. He has a special interest in sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, persistent pain, and helping patients build long-term confidence with movement.
Outside the clinic, Jean-Luc enjoys weightlifting, traveling, cooking, and spending time with his cat, Remi. These interests reflect his balanced approach to health, movement, and well-being.

At your initial appointment, a comprehensive evaluation will be done on your jaw (TMJ), neck, shoulder girdle, and thoracic spine in order to determine if one or a combination of these structures are causing your symptoms. After this, your physiotherapist will create a treatment plan based on the nature of your symptoms and your specific needs. Our tele-health physiotherapy assessment is done virtually (either by phone or video conference) and can be done directly through our secure Janeapp. Your physiotherapist will do an extensive interview with you regarding your signs, symptoms, and goals. If done by video, your physiotherapist will ask you to perform movements and tests to help diagnose the problem in order to come up with a treatment plan moving forward. A treatment and plan in this case may look like educating you on how to self-treat the problem using specific techniques, postures, exercises and positions. Your first vestibular physiotherapy assessment includes a thorough discussion to better understand your symptoms and identify your individual concerns and treatment goals. Depending on your therapy goals, treatment can include education, canal repositioning maneuvers and rehabilitative (habituation) exercise to name a few.
