Dry needling is primarily directed at trigger points, which are identified as tender palpable points within the muscle. Dry needling involves insertion of an acupuncture needle into these trigger points to release the tightness.
IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation) / Dry Needling is a therapeutic method that uses fine acupuncture needles to relieve chronic muscle pain. By directly targeting specific trigger points, IMS helps release muscle tension and stimulates the body’s natural healing processes. This technique is effective in providing pain relief and improving overall muscle function. The combination of IMS and dry needling offers significant benefits for treating muscle dysfunction, accelerating recovery, and supporting individuals in achieving better physical health and well-being.
