Jenna is a pelvic health physiotherapist with a passion for helping people feel confident, comfortable, and supported throughout every stage of life. She graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2012. Prior to that, she earned degrees in Athletic Therapy and Kinesiology from the University of Manitoba, providing her with a strong foundation in movement, rehabilitation, and performance.
Jenna is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed extensive post-graduate training in orthopaedic, pelvic health, and manual therapy. Her advanced education includes acupuncture (Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute Levels 1 & 2), functional dry needling (Kinetacore Levels 1 & 2), hypopressives, visceral manipulation (Barral Institute Levels 1–4), clinical hypnosis for health professionals, pelvic girdle pain (Rost Therapy), and McKenzie Method assessment and treatment (Parts A, B, and C).
Her pelvic health training includes specialized education through Pelvic Health Solutions in the assessment and treatment of urinary incontinence (female and male), pelvic pain (female and male), prostate cancer rehabilitation and exercise, and pessary use in pelvic organ prolapse rehabilitation. She has also completed advanced training in female athlete care (The Female Athlete Levels 1 & 2), including running assessment and training strategies (Julie Wiebe: diaphragm/pelvic floor piston and treating and training the female runner), as well as labour and delivery support, including maternal positioning and pelvic biomechanics in the delivery room.
Throughout her career, Jenna has worked with individuals of all ages, from children to older adults, and has experience treating a wide range of conditions, from acute injuries to complex chronic concerns. She has worked with recreational and competitive athletes in sports such as hockey, track and field, basketball, football, volleyball, dance, and soccer. In addition, she supports individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents, post-surgical procedures, chronic pain conditions, and long-term health conditions. Her diverse clinical background allows her to develop individualized treatment plans that help patients achieve their goals and return to the activities that matter most to them.
Jenna began her journey in pelvic health in 2013 and has since developed a special interest in helping individuals navigate pelvic health concerns with confidence and support. She provides care for both women and men and is passionate about improving access to treatment, including through specialized pessary fitting for pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence.
She treats a wide range of pelvic health conditions, including urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, pregnancy-related concerns, postpartum recovery, and rehabilitation following prostatectomy. Jenna believes that pelvic health concerns should never be something people simply “live with.” She strives to create a welcoming, compassionate environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their care.
Using an individualized, evidence-based approach, she works collaboratively with each patient to develop treatment plans that align with their unique needs, lifestyle, and goals. Whether you are seeking care for a pelvic health concern, recovering from an injury or surgery, returning to sport, managing a chronic condition, preparing for childbirth, navigating postpartum recovery, or recovering from prostate surgery, Jenna is committed to providing knowledgeable, personalized care every step of the way.
When she's not in the clinic, Jenna enjoys spending quality time with her son, family and friends. She can often be found outdoors camping or gardening, staying active through exercise, curled up with a good book or trying a new recipe in the kitchen. She values an active, balanced lifestyle and enjoys helping her patients find was to stay engaged in the activities they love.
