Julie offers gentle, attentive care with acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, supporting people with concerns like pain, stress, sleep difficulties, digestive issues, fatigue, and women’s health. She takes the time to listen and create a personalized treatment plan at every visit, tailored to each person’s needs. Demonstrated through research and patient outcomes, acupuncture can help restore balance, improve health, and make people feel better.
Julie Peters graduated with clinical excellence from the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (CCATCM) and is a registered acupuncturist with CMAAC. She is also a registered Holistic Nutritional Consultant, having completed her studies at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN). In addition to her clinical work, Julie contributes as an assistant teacher at CCATCM, supporting the next generation of practitioners.
Julie has been a member of the CSNN Alumni Association since 2016 and has participated in groups such as the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, Women in Business, the Commons North Business Association, and the Metal Arts Guild of Nova Scotia, where she served as juried member and secretary. She has also contributed to her local schools through the Parent Teacher Committee at Waverley Memorial. Outside of work, Julie enjoys cooking healthy meals for her two growing boys—who are never shy about sharing their honest opinions—practicing yoga and Qi Gong (a gentle practice combining movement, meditation, and breathing), and spending time outdoors to appreciate nature.
