Kara is a Level 3 Fascial Stretch Therapy Specialist who has completed her training in massage therapy and is currently awaiting board certification.
She takes an integrated approach to treatment, combining soft tissue techniques with Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) to address both tension and movement restrictions. Sessions are tailored to each client, blending hands-on work with assisted stretching to improve mobility, reduce discomfort, and support long-term function.
With over a decade of experience in movement and recovery, Kara is the former owner of Parallel Yoga and has worked with both everyday clients and high-performance athletes throughout the Fraser Valley. Her work focuses on helping clients move more freely, recover more effectively, and feel more at ease in their bodies.
Her additional training includes sport-specific conditioning, functional movement training (including kinesiology taping and vibration tools), trauma-sensitive yoga, and youth yoga.
Outside the clinic, Kara is a mom of three who enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, and baking.
