In addition, she has supported more than a hundred babies by emotionally assisting and providing information to mothers and families at the time of delivery. Kerri recently completed her formal education in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Kerri loves listening to her patients to create a specialized treatment plan for each individual. Blending together ancient wisdom with current research and growing knowledge is Kerri's passion.

75 Minutes For new patients who are seeking support for pregnancy related symptoms such as morning sickness, back pain, fatigue, constipation, carpal tunnel during all three trimesters. This appointment includes an assessment regarding your pregnancy and health history, treatment plan and acupuncture treatment.
Acupuncture and moxibustion support for breech presentation during the third trimester. Ideally started around 34 weeks gestation, or as soon as you discover baby is breech, to help encourage optimal fetal positioning and support overall pregnancy wellbeing.
For new patients who are seeking support for a breech presentation. This treatment includes the use of acupuncture, cupping and moxibustion (herbs heated over specific points of the body) to encourage your baby to move into an optimal position. Moxibustion is taught so that you can perform it at home in-between acupuncture sessions. Weekly acupuncture sessions are recommended and can be done from 33-40 weeks gestation.

30 min NADA acupuncture, sometimes referred to as auricular acupuncture, is a therapeutic approach that specifically targets the ear. NADA is a series of 5 needles in each ear that was developed to treat addiction recovery, stress management and emotional well -being. NADA acupuncture is a gentle, non-invasive treatment. The needles are retained for around 20-30 minutes. During this time, individuals often experience a deep sense of relaxation.

Dr. Brittany will then conduct a physical orthopedic exam to evaluate if there is muscle imbalance, reduced range of motion, pain, and / or impaired balance. These treatments are customized to the individual, including both Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture to stimulate blood & qi (energy) circulation and motorpoint acupuncture which targets the most electrically excitable point of the muscle to reset the muscle spindles, decrease pain, restore strength & range of motion. For patients who are 36 weeks pregnant or further along. Labour preparation acupuncture helps to prepare the body for birth. Receiving acupuncture treatment in the last few weeks of pregnancy can help relieve pain and muscle tension, promote relaxation, and gently encourage the shift in hormones needed to move towards labour. The initial appointment includes an assessment regarding your pregnancy and health history, treatment plan and acupuncture treatment.
