Krista has had the privilege of working alongside many women and their families for over 20 years in maternity care. She is a certified Birth Doula CD(DONA), she completed her breastfeeding support for health care providers certificate through Douglas College and is also a certified Dancing For Birth instructor. Krista previously worked as a medical office assistant and provided breastfeeding support at a local maternity clinic for 10 years.
Krista is passionate about working alongside breastfeeding mothers and babies. She holds space in a supportive, compassionate, non judgmental way. She is committed to helping you achieve your breastfeeding goals and meet you wherever you’re at on your journey.
Krista is married and has 3 grown sons. She loves getting outdoors in the sunshine for walks, hikes, and bike rides. She also loves curling up with a good book and spending time with family and friends.

Dancing For Birthᵀᴹ Partners Class is a fun way to include your partner in all the things you have been learning in the weekly DFB classes. Bring your partner for some fun movement, education, and to learn some comfort measures to help bring more ease and comfort to your birth. Both you and your partner will leave feeling empowered to labour and birth together through movement, education, and comfort measures.

Dancing For Birthᵀᴹ for a 6 session package or $26 drop-in fee. Classes are your 'trifecta' of birth preparation. It's a feel-good prenatal/postnatal fitness, childbirth education, and celebration of pregnancy, birth, and parenting, all rolled into one amazing class that supports you from pre-conception through postpartum and beyond.

This is a follow up Breastfeeding Support appointment for those who have already been seen by Krista for an initial appointment. This follow up appointment is 60 minutes in length.

This is an all-levels yoga class designed to connect mind and body. Through gentle flows, mindful movement, and breath work, we’ll create balance, build strength, and cultivate a sense of calm and presence. Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, this class offers something for everyone. Package prices are available, but cannot be booked online.
