AjouterIn 2015 Lubeina enrolled at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine (AIM) Academy in Toronto, Ontario in the Acupuncture Therapy Program, and developed her skills as a confident TCM practitioner under the current guidelines proposed by The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). Upon successful graduation of the program in 2018, Lubeina continued to work in the Cambridge, Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo area where she was able to utilize her knowledge in order to provide TCM treatments to her patients with the utmost care and attention. She is currently working in the Kitchener-Waterloo area as an Acupuncturist / TCM Practitioner at Vida Wellness in Waterloo, Ontario. Lubeina is proficient in several TCM modalities including Acupuncture, Cupping, Guasha, Heat Therapy, Meditation Techniques and Yin-Tuina, in addition to providing dietary and nutritional advice within a TCM perspective.

Guasha is an essential part of TCM therapy. The guasha tool is a curved object that runs across the treatment area, and promoting blood flow. The end results include better healing of torn muscle tendons, treating joint pain damage due to osteoarthritis, as well as repairing and minimizing the appearance of scar tissue.
