Lyndsey is a Registered Occupational Therapist who graduated in 2003 for the University of Alberta. Prior to pursuing training in pelvic health through the Functional Pelvis, Lyndsey spent
thirteen years working in hospitals with adults and children with complex medical and neurological
conditions and ten years in private practice. Lyndsey has a passion for promoting women’s
wellness and finding creative ways to support her clients to understand what their bodies are
communicating. Our bodies and lives can’t be siloed into individual components. Our pelvic floor is
closely connected to our breathing, stress levels, nervous systems, even our thoughts and beliefs.
If you are experiencing pelvic pain, pelvic heaviness/prolapse, incontinence or urgency, lack of
sexual pleasure, endometriosis, challenges feeling/understanding your body’s cues, high stress
and/or emotional dysregulation, AND these activities are impacting the ability for you to show up in
your life and participate in the activities that bring you meaning and joy…let’s connect!

**Minimum of three registrants required for the class to run. Registrants will be informed if the class will be cancelled due to lack of attendance. Option to change to 1:1 for OT hourly rate** If you want practical, experience-based guidance that goes beyond “Birth and Babies”, this session is for you! This session is designed for anyone pregnant in search of practical, evidence-based advice on navigating labour, delivery, and the early postpartum period. Written by a pelvic health physiotherapist and a women’s health occupational therapist, this lecture focuses on the things you can do now to optimize recovery, the kinds of decisions that tend to come up during labour, what to expect when plans change, and what advocacy can look like in the moment for the birthing person. We also cover early postpartum recovery, with clear, evidence-based guidance on activity pacing, managing pressure and fatigue, and avoiding common mistakes that can delay healing and your return to whatever makes you feel like you. It is about informed advocacy, collaborative decision-making, and setting yourself up for the best possible recovery, regardless of how birth unfolds.

**Minimum of three registrants for class to continue. Registrants will be informed if the class will be cancelled due to lack of attendance. For a 1 on 1 approach please become the individual option** Led by a pediatric occupational therapist (OT), this session breaks down how feeding actually works, what tends to go sideways in the early days, and how to set yourself up for success before feeding becomes stressful, painful, or overwhelming. While feeding support is often framed through a breastfeeding-only lens, this session takes a broader, function-based approach. We cover both breast and bottle feeding, how babies coordinate sucking, swallowing, and breathing, and how factors like positioning, setup, and environment influence feeding success across feeding methods. Instead of waiting until something feels wrong, we focus on what to notice early, how to support your baby’s coordination, comfort, and regulation from day one, and when early support can prevent small challenges from becoming bigger feeding struggles. This isn’t a “do it perfectly” lecture. It’s about understanding what’s typical, what’s not, and when support can make a real difference. The goal is for you to leave with information that helps you make decisions before frustration and exhaustion take over. You will leave with practical tools, clear explanations, and a clearer sense of how early awareness and support can change the feeding experience, regardless of how you feed your baby. This session is for anyone expecting a baby, whether you plan to breastfeed, bottle-feed, combo feed, or have not decided yet. If feeding is about to be part of your life, this is for you!

This appointment assesses both breast and bottle feeding, and also looks at the functional and physical factors that can make feeding harder than it needs to be. It's an appointment that has been intentionally designed to catch things early, before feeding challenges escalate or become entrenched. Rather than rigid rules or one-size-fits-all advice, the focus is on understanding what is happening, identifying small but meaningful adjustments, and supporting feeding in a way that works for your baby, your body, and your recovery. This session is open to anyone whether you are breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, combo feeding, pumping, or still figuring out what works best. Being virtual, it is accessible from anywhere and can be booked early, before feeding feels overwhelming.
