Meg graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) program at Nova Scotia Community College in 2023 and began her career in private practice before taking maternity leave.
During this time, she furthered her education by enrolling in Thompson Rivers University's online Bachelor of Health Sciences program. Following her maternity leave, Meg continued her studies while gaining valuable experience at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre and later at Moncton City Hospital, ultimately completing her BHSc in 2026.
Through her work in both private clinic and hospital settings, Meg has had the opportunity to support a diverse patient population experiencing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, as well as those managing cardiac, neurological, and complex medical conditions. Combined with her professional background in fitness and exercise training, this experience has strengthened her appreciation for movement as a key component of health, recovery, and overall well-being.
Meg has always been passionate about women's health, and that passion deepened through her own experiences with pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery. Having navigated these life-changing experiences firsthand, she understands the value of having a supportive healthcare team and feeling heard, informed, and confident through all stages of rehabilitation and recovery. She is committed to helping women advocate for their health and achieve their goals through education, evidence-informed care, and compassionate support. Meg is thrilled to be part of the ReConnect team, helping clients feel their best at every stage of their wellness journey.
Outside of work, Meg enjoys running, curling up with a good book, and spending quality time with her daughter and husband.

This appointment is for new patients or patients that have not attended an appointment in > 12 months. This appointment is booked for up to 60 minutes. Pelvic floor physiotherapists can work on the pelvis and core externally, much like typical physiotherapy, but they might also recommend internal assessment and treatment. Sometimes when the problem is on the inside, it is best to treat it from the inside. In Canada, a physiotherapist must have advanced training to be able to perform an internal pelvic exam. An internal pelvic exam can take place vaginally or rectally. While an internal exam can offer a great deal of information regarding your condition, not everyone is appropriate for an internal exam and patients can always refuse an internal exam. Even without an internal exam, there are a variety of physiotherapy treatment options available for pelvic floor conditions. All treatment options are agreed upon by the physiotherapist and the patient before implementation.
Pessary fitting appointment for non-pregnant individuals. Please note the cost of the pessary device is not included in this fee for insurance purposes.
