After many years of exploring other interests, Michelle discovered her love for Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her upbringing was built upon a strong foundation in natural healing modalities and she adores Acupuncture and TCM. She is interested in supporting individuals through various techniques including acupuncture, moxibustion, gua sha, cupping and bodywork.
Michelle completed her Diploma of Acupuncture Summa Cum Laude at Pacific Rim College in 2023, and is a Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia (CCHPBC). She is certified in Acusculpting®, Prenatal Acupuncture, Facial Gua Sha, and Ontake Moxibustion which is a technique using bamboo and moxibustion to treat pain. Michelle also has a Business Diploma and a Baking and Pastry Arts Diploma, which she accomplished while playing five years of post-secondary volleyball. After college, she then moved to the Czech Republic to play a year of professional volleyball. Later on she received a Natural Chef Diploma from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, England which compliments TCM nutrition and diet therapy recommendations for her patients. Michelle is currently working on completing her studies to become a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine which will allow her to integrate the powerful benefits of Chinese Herbal Medicine into treatments.
Professionally, Michelle is interested in bridging bodywork and acupuncture to support in an integrative way. Treating pain by supporting the nervous system and offering a holistic approach to well-being.
She is determined to help patients through connection and listening; seeking to understand each person on an individual level and provide a safe environment for care and comfort. When she’s not in the clinic, Michelle enjoys baking and cooking, brewing kombucha, hiking, knitting, beach walks and playing volleyball.

Divided into two focused 7-week segments, this class blends Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and somatic practices into an experience that is both grounded and exploratory, with curiosity and wonder woven throughout. You'll learn how to connect more deeply with your own system, building awareness, resilience, and a clear, tactile sense of internal balance. This series is designed for anyone seeking a grounded, transformative experience-whether you're new to somatic-based Qi practices or looking to deepen and refine your skills. Themes we'll explore: • Relationships and feedback loops Non-verbal communication with classmates Balance, connection and energetic boundaries • Dynamic interplay between movement, Qi flow, touch(when appropriate), and personal transformation • Practical techniques are woven throughout - such as the "raindrop" for energetic awareness and somatic inquiry as a way of listening to the body's stories. • Developing your personal energy field and a shared field with the group. Pacing is gentle and intentional, with space for integration and self-reflection between sequences. You'll be invited to "land softly" in yourself-much like coming home. Fridays 9:30am to 11:00am Cost $275 for 7 weeks. Or $500 for all 14 weeks.
In this unique session, you will receive a combination of acupuncture and bodywork. Acupuncture and bodywork will be provided by a registered acupuncturist. In addition, Malcolm will integrate his bodywork techniques while providing guidance and mentorship to complement and enhance the acupuncture treatment. This collaborative approach offers you a holistic experience designed to target your specific health needs.
For returning patients, this treatment will continue on from previous treatments with shorter intake discussions as we continue your treatment plan and modify as needed each time you come in.
We will continue to work together based on how your body, mind and spirit are shifting and balancing after each treatment. Treatment will include pulse taking, channel and abdominal palpation followed by needles, and possibly cupping, gua sha or cranio-sacral.
An acupuncture treatment will be approximately one hour and consist of review of your present health condition, including important diagnostic questions to determine the state of your system constitutionally. Celina will take your pulse and look at your tongue every visit. You will rest quietly with the acupuncture needles in for 20 plus minutes. Other therapies will be included in the treatment as needed including gua sha - a spooning technique on the surface of the skin, cupping, moxibustion therapy, meridian massage, Tui Na and nutritional advice. Lifestyle guidelines may be recommended according to the patient's needs.
Bridging bodywork and acupuncture to support in a holistic and integrative way. This treatment is different from Acupuncture in that Michelle will stay in the room for the whole duration of the treatment. Working not only with needles, but also treating areas of tension and how they relate to the whole body. Incorporating movement, fascial manipulations and energetic components allow for a truly integrative approach to wellness.
Treatments are 60 minutes. Acusculpting® is a specialized cosmetic acupuncture protocol designed to shape, lift, tighten & firm the skin on the face & body, thereby "sculpting" the body. Through a course of facial acupuncture treatment, the results can be akin to getting a ‘face lift’ without the surgical risks (and high expense) of cosmetic surgery. Treatments are also intended to heal the body and combat aging. Micro damage caused by acupuncture needles can trigger collagen production in the skin and cause cell regeneration in which the skin will renew itself. Although rejuvenation therapies is a centuries-old process, cosmetic acupuncture is a relatively new concept in the West that is gaining a lot of popularity for its holistic and non- invasive approach. This unique protocol is designed to firm, lift, tighten and shape tissues and skin thereby ‘sculpting’ the face and body. Specialized needle protocols, as well as massage, cupping, and gua sha techniques, helps to reduce inches, lift, plump, and change the overall appearance and structure of internal and external layers of the dermis. Areas of focus can include the face, abdomen, breasts, thighs and buttocks. ***Please remove make-up prior to your facial treatment.***

Paediatric care is one of the oldest Chinese medicine specialties. Traditional Chinese medicine doctors have always understood that the physiology of a child is different from that of an adult and that young people are in need of specialized care. Traditional Chinese medicine can help ease many of the physical, emotional, and psychological difficulties associated with maturation by restoring balance throughout these transitions. A treatment for a baby or a child may involve needle-free acupuncture, or Shoni Shin, using very tiny tools for rubbing, tapping or massaging the meridians or points, gentle in and out acupuncture can also be used with extremely fine needles, nutrition and/or lifestyle therapies to treat both acute and chronic conditions as well as help to prevent your child from developing future ailments. Celina does a lot of teaching to parents of babies and children so that they go home with tools and wisdom for how to work with their child at home.

Medical Qigong is an ancient form of Chinese energetic medicine that is applied to facilitate healing through balancing the yin and the yang, as well as the qi, or the life force that is present in all living organisms. Medical Qi Gong is one of the four main branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), along with acupuncture, herbal medicine, and medical massage. The treatments are hands on, but do not include needles, rather it employs techniques similar to acupressure, Reiki, and massage techniques. This is an excellent, gentle treatment modality for supporting people with chronic diseases, people with sensitive systems, and people who are deeply committed to opening the layers of communication between the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of their being. Our visit together will include a bit of counselling/ coaching/ discussing your goals for your treatments and on your life path in addition to the hands- on treatment.

Celina trained and certified in Tui Na (Chinese Bodywork) during her TCM training. Tui Na is one of the oldest and most profound forms of bodywork there is. It is considered one of the five branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is based on the theory of meridians and collaterals and is a special form of massage that utilizes techniques specific to Chinese medicine. It involves stimulation of areas and points along specific meridians with rubbing, acupressure, percussion and traction. Tui Na feels incredible! It is highly therapeutic and can be used alone for pain or injury or general wellness care. It can also be added onto an acupuncture appointment for a deeper experience.
