Hello, my name is Christina (Tina) and I am a Registered Massage Therapist here in the Valley and excited to work with Sarah at her home studio in Port Williams and meet many of you soon!
I feel like I've had an eclectic work history, from working as a receptionist in a medical office, tried my hands at being a professional sewer, later a high school librarian, to a guard in Iqaluit with the RCMP, (just to name a few.)
After raising my son as a single-mom and caring for my aging father during his end of life while balancing the many turbulences of life I felt called to to join the healing community to help people feel completely cared for wherever they are at on their healing journey.
I decided to return to school for Massage Therapy, I am a proud graduate from CCMH where I did my massage outreach in a nursing home and gained invaluable experience with clients that had varying conditions from stroke, MS, and dementia.
I specialize in deeply relaxing, yet therapeutic massage that not only refreshes the mind but also facilitates the body’s release of muscular tension and any associated pain and discomfort. I enjoy working with all clients, but especially those who are managing chronic conditions or have special needs or considerations. My goal is not just to relieve muscle tension, but to also help your mind feel soothed and at ease.
I have trained in Cupping, Rapid Neurofascial Reset, Indian Head Massage, End of Life Doula, Parkinson's Massage and recently a specialized Oncology Massage Course , 'Massage for People Living with Cancer'. I am also currently enrolled in the Palliative Care Massage Course. I look forward to 'tailoring' a specialized treatment suited just for you.
I sincerely look forward to being part of your healing journey.

A short appointment, perfect to introduce children to massage. Guardians relax in the room and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere while their little ones nervous system is soothed and reset with slow, steady strokes and calming music. Children are gently encouraged to give feedback and advocate for themselves. We understand older children and teens may not want guardians in the room, if your child is wanting more independence and privacy please send me a text 902-298-9877 or email: tinabrmt@yahoo.com so we can discuss the situation and come up with a plan that keeps everyone safe and happy! Designed for ages 3 - 16.
*Please note, Sarah is unfortunately not currently accepting new clients for my Massage for Littles as I am at full capacity* Tina is still available and accepting new Little Clients. My colleague, RMT, Tina B that works with me is accepting new littles clients. Thank you so much for making this program a huge success. Through my educational journey I have had the pleasure of researching and learning about the profound impact of intentional touch on our littles physical and mental health. I have always believed that touch is a fundamental human need. Research studies have highlighted Massage Therapy as helping children with enhanced sleep quality, elevating a child's overall happiness, aiding with musculoskeletal pain from any injuries, relaxation, increasing body awareness and neurological development just to name a few of the benefits. Having two young children myself, I have used intentional touch since birth and overall, the gains have been instrumental. From regulating moods, calming the nervous system, bringing focus and presence to their day, littles can benefit tremendously from Massage Therapy. I look forward to being part of your child's healing journey. Designed for ages 3 - 16.

Hot stone massage is a type of massage, also known as geo-thermo-therapy, where stones are heated with water. Hot stone massage follows the principles of hydrotherapy. While it can feel like a relaxation treatment, the stones are able to sink more deeply into the tissue for a satisfying and therapeutic effect I will be using Basalt stones for this treatment, they are direct from the Andes Mountains. They are authentic volcanic stones that are hand picked from the river beds of the Andes Mountains in South America. They have all been naturally polished and smooth from the elements of the earth - retaining their high heat abilities. The hot stones can be placed on the stomach, back, feet, chest, face, and even the toes and the palms of your hands. The placement of the stones can help relieve pain in your problem areas and you will feel me alternating between using the hot stones and my hands for your full body massage. Some of the noted benefits of hot stone: Increases circulation • Improves lymphatic circulation • Decreases muscle and joint pain • Decreases tension headaches • Promotes increased well – being and vitality • Reduces overall stress
