Paola is an Internationally Educated Physician, a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She has over 10 years of medical background and 5 years of clinical experience in Lactation Medicine. As a mother herself, she struggled with breastfeeding and that's what motivated her to specialize in Lactation. She holds a Diploma in Pediatric Nutrition and a Diploma in Perinatal & Pediatric Clinical Nutrition. She also has additional training in Pumping & Feeding Gear, Infant Craniosacral Therapy, as well as in Low Milk Supply. Paola will be starting the LILAC Fellowship (Lessons in Lactation Advanced Curriculum) in summer 2026, a highly regarded two-year advanced fellowship in Breastfeeding & Lactation Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Paola provides families with feeding support when breastfeeding, pumping, supplementing and with solid foods. She's highly experienced in tethered oral tissues (tongue and lip ties) and her approach includes oral habilitation and craniosacral therapy to improve oral function. As a Certified Pediatric Sleep Specialist, she also helps families and babies sleep better with a holistic approach focused on attachment and well-being. She's fluent in English and Spanish.
Since finishing her medical training and becoming a mom, Paola's mission has been to support, educate and empower families so they can feel confident and give their babies the best start. For Paola, every family is special, and giving them judgement-free support by working on their unique feeding goals is her number one priority.
Beginning maternity leave in February 2026, Paola’s in-person availability will be limited; however, she will continue to offer virtual support for a limited number of patients to ensure continuity of care and thoughtful follow-up.
