Peter is the founder and clinic director of Thrive Physio, where he leads a dedicated team of professionals focused on delivering personalized, high-quality care. With over a decade of experience as a registered physiotherapist, he specializes in rehabilitation, manual therapy, and holistic wellness, using a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored to each patient's needs.
Having played at an elite level, Peter understands the importance of recovery and performance. After overcoming a knee injury in his senior year of university, he captained his soccer team to their first NCAA national championship. This experience deepened his commitment to helping individuals recover from injuries, restore function, and regain their quality of life, regardless of their athletic background.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Peter holds a Master’s of Science from the University of Toronto and advanced certifications in manual therapy, neurofunctional acupuncture, concussion therapy, and vestibular rehabilitation. He is also a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT), an internationally recognized designation for advanced manual therapy training.
As clinic director, Peter is focused on creating a collaborative and supportive environment, both for patients and the clinic team. He believes in building strong relationships, fostering professional development, and ensuring that each patient receives individualized care to achieve their health and wellness goals.
Outside of his professional work, Peter enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and continually learning to stay up to date with the latest advancements in physiotherapy and wellness.

During your follow-up physiotherapy visit, we’ll review your progress, address any concerns, and adjust your treatment plan as needed. Our physiotherapist will guide you through targeted exercises, hands-on techniques, or other therapies to continue improving your mobility and strength. The focus is on building upon the work from your initial visit, providing ongoing support, and ensuring you're on track to meet your recovery goals. We’ll also provide education and advice to help you maintain progress between sessions.

Your initial physiotherapy visit is a comprehensive assessment to identify the cause of your concern and begin treatment. Our physiotherapist will review your medical history, perform a physical examination, and discuss your symptoms and goals. Based on this, we’ll start targeted treatment, which may include hands-on techniques, exercises, and education. We’ll also create a personalized treatment plan to guide your recovery, with follow-up visits and home exercises as needed. Our goal is to relieve your discomfort, improve your movement, and help you return to your daily activities with confidence.
If it’s been over six months since your last visit or you’re experiencing a new injury, your reassessment will begin with a comprehensive review of your current condition. Our physiotherapist will assess your movement, strength, and symptoms, and discuss any changes or concerns since your last treatment. Based on the reassessment, we’ll adjust your treatment plan and introduce new therapies, exercises, or techniques to address your current needs. The focus is on getting you back on track with a personalized approach to help you recover and reach your goals.

Pelvic floor therapy is treatment for common pelvic conditions. This includes but is not limited to, pelvic pain/prolapse and incontinence. The pelvic floor is a group of muscles that attach to the pelvic bone. These muscles allow for urination and bowel movements when relaxed. An evaluation is conducted to identify the contributing factors to your symptoms and a treatment plan is created based on the symptoms and your goals. Assessment includes medical history, and questions based on, pain sexual health, bladder and bowel. Breathing, posture, and movement are also assessed.

The 20 minute physiotherapy session is intended for single modality treatments, rehab program updates, and re-assessments. The time allows for a focused treatment/assessment at a lower cost barrier, and for those who do not need a standard multi-modal physiotherapy session.
