Raquel is a Registered Occupational Therapist dedicated to partnering with families to turn daily challenges into opportunities for growth and connection.
She utilizes a neurodivergent-affirming approach, focusing on sensory regulation as the foundation for a child’s long-term success. Her practice centers on optimizing the environment to better support a child’s unique needs—both by physically adjusting spaces and by coaching parents/caregivers to build the knowledge necessary for lasting change. Through this supportive foundation, Raquel helps children develop confidence in fine motor skills, feeding, and executive functioning. Believing that parents are the true experts on their own children, she uses a collaborative approach to create practical, tailored solutions that fit the unique rhythms of each family.
As a first generation immigrant, Raquel is passionate about supporting Spanish-speaking families. When Raquel is not working, you can find her on the rugby pitch, tending to her garden, or enjoying quality time with her family
