Skye has practiced as a Physiotherapist Practitioner since 2007 and has been practicing in Canada since 2016. She is fluent in Hindi, English, and Marathi. Her goal is to optimize your well-being by helping you understand the cause of your pain and educating you on how to correct it.
Skye works with a wide range of patients, but she has a special interest in the geriatric (65+ years young) population. Her treatment approach to restore joint and muscle function is based on a range of manual therapy techniques, such as the McKenzie method, Mulligan's mobilization, soft tissue release, and intramuscular stimulation (IMS), also known as dry needling. Skye combines this approach with exercise therapy to prevent recurrence of injury.
She enjoys treating orthopedic injuries, such as post surgery rehabilitation, shoulder tendinopathies, spine pathologies, and motor vehicle accident.
Skye has done many years of additional training and courses to learn various evidence-based manual therapy techniques and has used them as tools to benefit her patients over time.
During her time off, she likes to spend time with her family, travelling, and working on home improvement projects.
