An initial pelvic health assessment includes a thorough conversation about your symptoms, health history, and goals, followed by a gentle physical exam that may involve assessment of posture, breathing, core, and pelvic floor function. This may include internal palpation of the pelvic floor. This helps your physiotherapist understand what’s contributing to your concerns and build a personalized treatment plan that feels safe, comfortable, and tailored to you.
