Teresa began her physiotherapy career in 2010 after graduating from the University of Alberta with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to completing her Physical Therapy certification, she acquired a Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree from the University of British Columbia.
Teresa holds a personal interest and passion in helping those in their Post-Operative Rehabilitation journey. She has gained vast experience working with patients who have undergone orthopaedic surgeries such as joint arthroplasty, achilles tendon rupture repair (& non-operative management), ACL repairs as well as knee/shoulder arthroscopy just to name a few. She also greatly enjoys working with active individuals of all ages, utilizing an exercise-based approach to both injury rehabilitation as well as prevention.
Having a long history participating in athletics herself, Teresa has volunteered countless hours with local sports teams. She continues to maintain an active healthy lifestyle alongside her husband and two sons. When she is not in the clinic there is a good chance you will find her at one of the local baseball fields watching her boys play the game they love.
Teresa is passionate about her work and she strives to help each patient reach his or her greatest level of recovery. She believes that a combination of education, IMS (dry-needling), manual therapy as well as a safe functional exercise program are all key components to one working towards and achieving their personal health goals
