Tiara Ibbrahim is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Her passion for psychology and seeing people thrive and reach their full potential led her to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Carleton University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Tiara completed her counselling practicum at a college counselling centre and has experience within private practice mental health settings as well. Throughout her experience, she has worked with adults of varying ages to help support them with a wide range of presenting concerns, including but not limited to, anxiety, stress, mood challenges, self-esteem, and life transitions. She practices from an anti-oppressive and multicultural framework, striving for person-centred care with each client. Tiara tailors her therapeutic approach by integrating a variety of evidence-based modalities and interventions.
Outside of her therapy practice, Tiara enjoys hiking and being in nature, trying new foods, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.

The purpose of the 15-minute free online consultation is to give you an opportunity to briefly share what brings you to therapy, learn more about the therapist’s approach, and ask any questions you may have before deciding whether to move forward with counselling.
60 min online follow-up psychotherapy sessions provide an opportunity to build on the work completed in previous appointments. Together, we will review your progress, explore current challenges, and work toward your therapy goals using a collaborative, client-centred approach. Sessions are tailored to your unique needs and may include developing insights, learning coping strategies, and identifying practical steps to support meaningful and lasting change.
1 hour initial online psychotherapy session. The initial therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a collaborative therapeutic relationship. During this session, we will explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals, and review relevant aspects of your personal history to gain a better understanding of your experiences and current concerns.
A psychotherapy discovery call is a brief (typically 10–15 minute) phone or video conversation designed to evaluate "fit," discuss logistics, and understand a potential client’s needs. The goal is to make the client feel heard while determining if the pracitioner's expertise matches your goals.
