Tira is a kind and welcoming Registered Acupuncturist, certified by the College of Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia (CCHPBC).
She has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and graduated with distinction from both her business and acupuncture programs. Tira has worked directly with reproductive centres specializing in Assisted Reproductive Technologies (IVF, FET, IUI) and is a graduate of the Woman Unveiled School of Women’s Mysteries.
As your Acupuncturist, Tira will provide care with an open mind and willingness to explore all aspects of health and the human experience. Her treatments will address both mental and physical health, as well as emotional and spiritual wellbeing. She uses acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, guided meditation, and lifestyle support as needed to help her patients through their healing. Her areas of focus include women’s health, fertility and reproductive support, emotional balance, and stress management.
Tira is also a certified Katonah Yoga® teacher with the Katonah Yoga Center. Tira is a natural teacher who creates an environment that empowers, supports, and challenges students. She has been teaching yoga since 2016.
She offers weekly yoga classes, specialized events, and a monthly women's circle in Nanoose Bay.

This appointment is for cupping exclusively. Only returning patients can book this appointment. If you are a new patient, please book in for an initial acupuncture appointment.
In this session, we will start by discussing your health history, setting realistic goals and expectations, and establishing a personalized treatment plan. Then, the first treatment will include a back treatment to clear stagnant energy affecting the face (this only needs to be done once), followed by body acupuncture, facial acupuncture, facial cupping, and facial gua sha (with the application of certified organic facial oils). Please note: facial acupuncture is contraindicated for anyone with high blood pressure, migraine headaches, is currently pregnant, has major or underlying health concerns such as diabetes, seizures, epilepsy, cancer, or coronary heart disease, or has had recent facial procedures and surgeries. If you fall into any of these categories, please book in a regular acupuncture session to address these underlying concerns prior to booking in for facial acupuncture.
This treatment includes body acupuncture, facial acupuncture, facial cupping, and facial gua sha (with the application of certified organic facial oils). For best results, please book 6 weekly subsequent sessions to start.
A rejuvenating treatment that combines facial cupping and gua sha with the application of certified organic facial oils. This treatment is contraindicated for people who are pregnant.
Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is a treatment targeted for specific facial concerns, although we will still address other health concerns for a truly holistic facial. We address what is going on inside the body, to achieve a facial glow from the inside out. This appointment includes facial acupuncture needling, traditional body acupuncture, and the application of a high quality facial serum.

Facial guasha is a traditional Chinese medicine technique to release tension in the face, scalp, neck and shoulders, and aids the lymphatic system in movement.
