**Vince is not accepting new patients at the Victoria Drive location. Existing patients who have previously seen Vince, please text 604-337-0642 or email vince.chan.rmt@gmail.com and we will assist you with booking in. New patients are welcome to book Vince at the new Kingsway location.** Vince is a graduate of the 3000+ hour Registered Massage Therapy program at Langara College where he graduated with Langara’s Academic Excellence Award. He previously worked as a Practicing Kinesiologist before returning to school so that he can have the skills to expedite patients reaching their movement goals. During treatment, Vince will incorporate a combination of Swedish massage with Myofascial Release and/or Neuromuscular Techniques to facilitate deeper relaxation. Depending on patient goals, he may also use other techniques such as Joint Mobilizations, Active Release, Pin & Stretch, or PNF Stretching. He will also coach patients on therapeutic exercise so they may be able to progress to their treatment goals faster. Vince has experience working with ICBC patients, personal training clients, as well as working with the Aging Population. During his time at UBC BodyWorks, he designed individualized fitness programs and progressive fitness classes whilst offering modifications for those who wanted a challenge or found difficulties with certain movements. Vince believes in keeping everyone moving and helping them achieve their movement goals. Outside the clinic, Vince likes to keep moving with cycling, weight lifting, running, and backcountry skiing. Upon request, Vince can setup Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM) Steel Blades to further assist patients in reaching their movement goals.

Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a table-based, therapist-assisted stretching system that focuses on the body’s connective tissue rather than just the muscles. Unlike typical stretching that isolates one muscle, FST works on entire chains of fascia that often become tight from stress, training, injury or posture. The therapist uses gentle traction, movement and stretching to create space in joints and free restrictions in the fascia. Designed to be pain-free , working with the nervous system through gentle, rhythmic patterns.
