In-Person | 60 minutes This is the first step in a two-part process designed to support your body as it recovers, re-integrates, and adapts after pregnancy and birth. Postpartum is not just healing — it’s a full-body reorganization. Your body is adjusting to feeding, holding, carrying, resting, and returning to daily movement, often while still recovering from birth. This session helps us understand how your body is currently functioning, so we can support it in rebuilding strength, connection, and capacity in a sustainable way. What We Do in Part 1 1. Postpartum Structural Assessment Using the Body Ready Method® pillars (upper body mobility, core, pelvis, pelvic floor, and movement patterns), we assess: posture and alignment in daily life (feeding, carrying, resting) breath mechanics and core coordination pelvic and pelvic floor function movement patterns and load management how your body is currently distributing effort and support This helps identify: what is overworking vs under-supporting where compensation or strain may be developing areas that need reconnection, stability, or mobility how your system is adapting to postpartum demands 2. Postpartum Recovery Lens We look at how your body is transitioning from pregnancy and birth into daily life, including: rebuilding core and pelvic floor coordination restoring functional strength and stability reducing unnecessary tension and strain supporting gradual, sustainable return to movement This is not about timelines or “bouncing back” — it’s about supporting your body in rebuilding from where it is now. 3. Body Awareness & Pattern Communication Your postpartum body reflects both recovery and adaptation. We explore patterns such as: bracing or over-recruitment for stability collapse or lack of support asymmetrical loading from feeding or carrying fatigue-based compensation patterns You’ll also receive insight into what your primary holding patterns may be communicating, helping you understand: how your body is managing recovery and demand where it may be under-supported or overworking what it may need more of (support, rest, stability, or gradual load) After Your Session I take time to: analyse your full assessment connect your movement and compensation patterns identify key areas for recovery and rebuilding design a personalised postpartum movement and self-care program Part 2 — Postpartum Integration & Program (Booked Separately) In your second session, we: walk through your assessment findings begin your personalised recovery and movement program practise and refine each exercise together build a plan to support your return to strength and daily function Booking Notes Part 1 (Assessment) is booked first Part 2 (Integration) is booked at least 24 hours later This allows time for thoughtful analysis and program design Who This Is For This work is ideal if you: are recovering from pregnancy and birth feel weak, tight, or imbalanced postpartum want to rebuild strength safely and effectively want guidance that respects your body’s current capacity What This Is Not not a generic postpartum workout not about rushing recovery not about “bouncing back” This is about restoring connection, strength, and support in your body for the long term. Your body has been through a profound transformation. This process supports it in rebuilding — with awareness, strength, and care. Included in the Postpartum Packages
