Counselling - Telephone session
Your appointment is scheduled for 50 minutes.
Virtual follow up visit with our Clinical Counsellor. Review of personalized treatment plan and therapy goals. Please ensure that you have signed up for your Jane account with Concussion Care Kelowna. You will receive an email approximately 15-30 minutes prior to your appointment, with a link to the secured virtual site. Please click on the link just prior to your appointment
Online counselling can be carried out via your Janeapp account or Telephone.
Video counselling allows you to meet with your counsellor in real time. This is the most similar to meeting in-person. It is ideal if you prefer seeing the counsellor face-to-face and allows her to really see how you are feeling and what you are needing.
Phone- Some clients prefer to meet via phone because they feel like they can go deeper into their feelings without having a person observing them.
Whichever venue that you prefer, online counselling has many advantages such as being more accessible, and convenient.

Most of the hour is spent talking through what has shifted since last time and working on it in real time — making sense of patterns, practising ways to respond differently, and staying with difficult thoughts or feelings — so you leave with a clearer thread to pick up between sessions.
