Conducted in a time frame when the clinic is less busy, quiet and more relaxing. Each client has their own room to enjoy the session in solitude while the physiotherapist attends to multiple acupuncture appointments in adjacent treatment rooms. A great way to get acupuncture-based treatment by a Physiotherapist in a more relaxed environment from our usual busy clinic days!
Please note: This is a specific acupuncture ONLY treatment addressing your injury or condition will be provided and the physiotherapist. Should you want physiotherapy treatment differing from acupuncture, the Standard Follow Up or Extended Follow Up Appointment is required.
In addition, Acupuncture ONLY Follow Up Physiotherapy Appointments can be booked after completion of your Initial Appointment Session.
Not all health benefit plans will accept coverage for acupuncture if completed by a Physiotherapist. Please check your plan for coverage. We will not be responsible for claims not accepted when claimed under acupuncture.

Most of the appointment is spent figuring out what your body can and can’t do — talking through the pattern of the problem, then checking movement, strength, balance and specific tests — with some hands-on treatment or exercise coaching and a plan to take away.
