Cupping is a type of alternative therapy. It involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. It increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed.

Most of the appointment is spent mapping out what’s going on in your body and choosing points, then resting with fine needles in place for a stretch — sometimes with heat, cups or electrical stimulation — and you leave with a sense of what was treated and whether more sessions make sense.
