This is for first time patients that have undergone a total hip replacement or total knee replacement surgery. Your assessment date MUST be within 82 days of your surgery date as per AHS protocol.
During this 30 min assessment, you will be seeing a physiotherapy to go through education, exercises, and what to expect for the remainder of your rehab program.

Most of this first physiotherapy visit is spent figuring out what’s driving the problem — history, movement, strength and hands-on testing — then some treatment if there’s time, and you leave with a clearer picture and a plan for what comes next.
