This appointment is designed for infants, children, and adolescents who are new to chiropractic care at OCR, or who have not been seen for chiropractic treatment in 9 months or more.
The initial pediatric chiropractic assessment includes a thorough health history, movement and posture evaluation, and age-appropriate physical examination to better understand your child’s concerns, development, and overall function. Our chiropractors take a gentle, individualized approach tailored to each child’s age, comfort level, and needs.
Pediatric chiropractic care may help support a variety of concerns, including:
Postural concerns and movement patterns
Sports injuries and activity-related pain
Growing pains
Neck, back, or joint discomfort
Headaches
Torticollis and positional preferences in infants
Tension and mobility restrictions
Recovery from falls or minor injuries

Treatment may include gentle chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, stretching, mobility work, exercise recommendations, and education for both children and parents.
