Dr. Kathrine Tavakoli is now offering Cosmetic Filler at Performance Integrated Health. Fillers are soft, gel like substances that contain hyaluronic acid. Fillers are meant to restore volume and create contour and shape to face, neck and jaw-line for a more youthful appearance. As we age, we lose hydration, elasticity, collagen and fat in our face and skin. Fillers are a safe and effective way of restoring that loss by creating more plumpness and lift. Common areas treated are lips, smile lines ( nasolabial folds), Marionettes, Jawline, chin, under eyes (tear troughs) and nose. Our Hyaluronic acid base fillers contain lidocaine, which makes the treatment more comfortable for patients. Topical anaesthetics can be used if necessary. Each treatment area takes anywhere between 30 to 45 minutes. There is no down time and recovery is minimal.
