First Hello Session

This gentle introductory session is a time for children/youth (and their parent/caregivers) to meet their therapist in a relaxed and welcoming way. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, exploring comfort levels, and introducing playful activities that help build trust and safety before beginning therapy together.

Most of this first counselling visit is spent talking through what has been happening, how long it has been weighing on you, and what feels hardest right now — with the rest on clarifying patterns, goals, and boundaries so you leave knowing how the work together could be structured.
