Individual sessions with a Student Therapist provide a supportive and collaborative space for clients to explore thoughts, emotions, and challenges. As part of their Master’s-level training in Counselling Psychology, Student Therapists use evidence-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed approaches tailored to the client’s needs and goals. All sessions are conducted under the supervision of a regulated mental health professional to ensure safe, ethical, and effective care.
*Please be aware that student therapists are not covered by health insurance benefits.

Most of the hour is spent talking through what’s been happening, how you’ve been reacting, and what patterns keep showing up — your counsellor asks questions, reflects things back, and helps you put words to it — so you leave with a clearer sense of what came up and what to keep noticing between sessions.
