Literacy Consultation Session GRADE 3 +
During this time, I will complete a range of literacy assessments with your child. You
may choose to stay in the room or wait outside. These assessments include letter
names / sounds, rhyming, oral reading, spelling, and additional aspects of reading
depending on your child’s age and abilities. Following these assessments, we will sit
down together and go through your intake form, discussing your child’s learning history.
We will use the data collected from the assessments to determine our goals moving
forward. We will also discuss a suggested length and amount of sessions to meet these
goals.
