Prenatal breastfeeding education, and access to skilled postpartum lactation support are effective ways in helping you achieve your feeding goals. Such interventions can help new mothers and families establish breastfeeding, build skills, resolve challenges, and increase breastfeeding self-efficacy.
The goal of this class is to help prepare and empower you to feed your baby in a way that fosters connection and nurtures you and your baby's needs.
During this two-hour breastfeeding preparation class, Abby will walk you through the stages of lactation and newborn feeding behavior, while equipping you with strategies to prevent and overcome any early challenges that may arise.

What it is
Most of the hour is spent talking through what’s been happening, how you’ve been reacting, and what patterns keep showing up — your counsellor asks questions, reflects things back, and helps you put words to it — so you leave with a clearer sense of what came up and what to keep noticing between sessions.
