Air Relax Recovery Sessions provide a controlled air pressure system of dynamic compression to the lower limbs, the core/trunk OR the upper limbs. A modality to assist with decreasing soreness and fatigue in muscle and assisting in recovery for all populations.

Artistic Athlete Extended Follow Up Appointments can be booked after completion of your Initial Appointment Session. Specific treatment for Dancers, Acrobats, Cheerleaders, and/or Performing Artists will be provided for up to 45 minutes of time. One on one services provided to address a single concern for a longer period of time or when multiple body parts are to be treated.

A short treatment and planning will be included. Please note: These appointments are reserved for artistic athletes in more competitive, performance based training and programs. Please book if this is your first visit to the clinic or if it has been over 1 year since your last appointment.

Open to Dancers, Performing Artists, Gymnasts, Cheerleaders, and Athletes for Injury Prevention Screening Testing and Evaluation. Includes review of screening results, recommendations, and exercises specific to the results. Assessment focused on activity specific testing and injury prevention education up to 70 minutes in length using specialized testing and equipment.

For Returning Clients Only: please book this option if it you have a new injury or body concern needing addressed or if is has been less than 12 months since your last visit to the clinic. If it has been 1 year or more since you have attended our facility, we still require booking the Initial Assessment option to assist with an accurate diagnosis and treatment session. Your Returning Client Re-Assessment is a one-on-one appointment and includes a quick review of your medical history, physical testing for the area of concern, a short treatment session and planning.

Biomedical Dry Needling appointments MUST be arranged through your Empower Physiotherapy practitioner and only after having an initial assessment. This booking is for a Follow Up Appointment for Biomedical Dry Needling ONLY. No other treatment options will be provided during this time. Up to 15 minutes of service will be provided.

Biomedical Dry Needling appointments MUST be arranged through your Empower Physiotherapy practitioner following a Physiotherapy Initial Assessment. These appointments are utilized to see another physiotherapist in our facility for Dry Needling treatment when required. This booking is for an Appointment for Biomedical Dry Needling ONLY. Co-Treat Sessions assist in a team approach for your injury or condition. Two physiotherapists will be present for your session to work together on a plan for care and management. Sara Lawson, Clinic Director will be with another team member as a way to assist in your care and manage her very full caseload. Your initial assessment is a TWO-on-one appointment and includes a collection of your medical history, physical testing, and treatment planning. Please book this option if it is your first visit to the clinic, if you have a new injury, or if it has been over 1 year since your last appointment and you want the team approach! Please note: these are limited weekly as part of our coaching/mentorship program.

Special Feature Group Appointment: These appointments are offered on Pop Up Saturdays and are not regularly scheduled. Conducted in a time frame when the clinic is less busy, quiet and more relaxing. Each client has their own room to enjoy the session in solitude while the physiotherapist attends to multiple acupuncture appointments in adjacent treatment rooms. A great way to get acupuncture-based treatment by a Physiotherapist in a more relaxed environment from our usual busy clinic days! Please note: This is a specific acupuncture ONLY treatment addressing your injury or condition will be provided and the physiotherapist. Should you want physiotherapy treatment differing from acupuncture, the Standard Follow Up or Extended Follow Up Appointment is required. In addition, Acupuncture ONLY Follow Up Physiotherapy Appointments can be booked after completion of your Initial Appointment Session. Not all health benefit plans will accept coverage for acupuncture if completed by a Physiotherapist. Please check your plan for coverage. We will not be responsible for claims not accepted when claimed under acupuncture.

Discussion on current management, exercise suggestions and education will be provided to 45 minutes in length. These appointments are structured significantly different from our standard physiotherapy follow ups and are reserved for those with this condition. Should your symptoms be flared or too much to attend in person, virtual sessions can be an option.

Follow Up Lymphatic Appointments can be booked after completion of an Initial Appointment Session. Specific and customized lymphatic treatment addressing your injury or condition will be provided combined with an Air Relax Dynamic Compression Session. Please only book this type of appointment following the Initial Assessment Consultation where discussion of this type of treatment has occurred.

Specific acupuncture ONLY treatment addressing your injury or condition will be provided. Should you want physiotherapy treatment differing from acupuncture, the Standard Follow Up or Extended Follow Up Appointment is required. Acupuncture ONLY Follow Up Physiotherapy Appointments can be booked after completion of your Initial Appointment Session.

Post Concussion Follow Up Appointments are to be booked only after completion of your Post-Concussion Initial Appointment. Specific one-on-one treatment addressing your concussion will be provided for up to 30 minutes of time.

Following a referral from a Physiotherapist, Kinesiology services will be added to assist in your rehabilitation and health goals. This appointment is conducted by a licensed Kinesiologist for extra guidance and supervision of exercise programming. We will review your current exercises, progress them safely, and make adjustments to match your abilities. The goal is to build confidence in exercising independently while supporting ongoing recovery and injury prevention while working closely with your current Physiotherapist on staff.

For Returning Clients Only: please book this option if it you have a body concern needing to be re-assessed or if it has been LESS than 12 months since your last visit with this selected practitioner. If it has been 1 year or more since you have attended at our facility, if you have a new injury, if you have multiple areas of concern, or if you are switching to another practitioner, we will usually require booking an Initial Assessment to assist with an accurate diagnosis and treatment session. Transfer of care from one practitioner to another may be declined by the clinic to assist in scheduling and caseload management. Changes from re-assessment to a full assessment may be requested by the clinic to assist in time management and providing the best care. Your Returning Client Re-Assessment visit is a one-on-one appointment and includes a quick review of your medical history, physical testing for the area of concern, and treatment planning.

Total Hip or Knee Replacement Clients can book this Follow Up Appointment option after completion of your Initial Appointment Session arranged through the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Specific one-on-one treatment addressing your injury or condition will be provided for UP to 30 minutes of time.

Mini Follow Up Appointments - Specific treatment addressing your injury or condition will be provided for only up to 15 minutes of time. Should you have a new injury an Assessment is recommended. Should you have more than one body area requiring treatment or need more intensive treatments, the Standard or Extended Follow Up Appointment is required.

For Rider Cheer: please book this option if it you have a new injury or body concern needing addressed. Transfer of care from one practitioner to another may be declined by the clinic to assist in scheduling and caseload management. Your Rider Cheer Assessment visit is a one-on-one appointment and includes a quick review of your medical history, physical testing for the area of concern, a short treatment session and planning.

For Rider Cheer: a 10 minute - follow up appointment for completing taping prior to practice, promo events, or game days.

Saskatchewan Roughrider Cheer Team Standard Follow Up Appointments are reserved for members of the Cheer Team. Should you want more one on one time with the Physiotherapist or have more than one body area requiring treatment, the Extended Follow Up Appointment is recommended.
