Alysha Khakh
Alysha Khakh is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the British Columbia College of Social Workers. She completed her Bachelor of Social Work at Thompson Rivers University and her Master of Social Work at the University of Victoria.
Alysha offers a compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally grounded approach to counselling. With experience working within a First Nations community, she brings a strong understanding of intergenerational trauma and the importance of cultural safety in her work, creating a space where clients feel respected, supported, and understood.

Her practice focuses on supporting children, youth, and adults experiencing trauma and complex trauma, grief and loss, child and youth mental health concerns, family dynamics and relational healing, and Indigenous mental health through culturally grounded care.
Alysha takes an integrative, client-centred approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness-based practices. She supports clients in developing skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness to foster meaningful and lasting change. She offers a warm, non-judgmental environment where trust and connection are at the core of the therapeutic process. Alysha offers counselling services in both English and Punjabi.
