**** Referral from a Doctor, Midwife or nurse practitioner is required to book this appointment as per regulation**** This is appropriate for clients experiencing blockages in multiple places in their breasts. The use of therapeutic ultrasound and massage techniques designed to break up the blockage and stimulate flow, our qualified physiotherapists can safely and effectively treat blocked milk ducts as well as guide you through optimal ergonomic and muscular optimization. In most cases, only one (1) or two (2) visits are necessary!

If you are consulting our clinic for pelvic physiotherapy or Diastasis Recti, an internal pelvic examination will be conducted at the next appointment (in-clinic) to determine the current state of the pelvic floor muscles, pelvic girdle joints and pinpoint the cause of your symptoms. Based on the results of your assessment, your therapist will create a personalized treatment plan including a home exercise program.

Once you have been fitted for a pessary by your practitioner- It is recommended to have a follow up appointments at 1-2 weeks after using your pessary to ensure it is working well for you and to check for vaginal tissue irritation. Your physiotherapist will guide you about the cadence of your next follow ups.
