Janelle is a dual-certified acupuncturist and Registered Massage Therapist who
graduated from the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is deeply
passionate about healthy living through nutrition, movement, and a balanced lifestyle,
and has a genuine care and strong commitment to helping people living with pain. While
her primary focus is on pain relief, she also works within the broader scope of
Traditional Chinese Medicine to support overall health, including insomnia, stress
reduction and nervous system regulation.
Her journey into this field was inspired by her own experience with whiplash and chronic
pain, which shaped her dedication to helping others return to their daily activities and
feel comfortable in their bodies. Janelle has a strong focus on both acute and chronic
pain management, as well as injury rehabilitation for athletes. She offers massage
therapy, Traditional Chinese medicine, and sports medicine. Other modalities which
may be included in treatments are cupping, gua sha, intramuscular stimulation and
motor point therapy.

AcuSculpting is a specialized cosmetic acupuncture protocol designed to shape, lift, tighten and firm the skin on face & body (Superior: Face + Scalp, Anterior: Abdomen, Breast(s) & legs & Posterior: hips, thighs & buttocks). In our first session, we will discuss one area of focus (e.g., minimizing the appearance of fine lines on the face, stimulating hair growth on scalp, fibrocystic breast(s), scars/ hyperpigmentation etc.). Once the acupuncture needles are inserted an LED light is placed over the area of focus. The LED light promotes cellular proliferation, collagen synthesis and helps with the reduction of inflammation. We will finish with a hot towel treatment and either silicone cupping and/ or Gua Sha. Be advised that bruising or hyperpigmentation has a chance of occurring during the week post-treatment. For chronic areas, a minimum of 10 treatments is advised. Packages are available.

These treatments are particularly effective for those dealing with chronic/acute pain (injury, arthritis, overuse) and wound healing (think stubborn scar tissue). In combination with acupuncture the rate of healing has been shown to expedite significantly with these 2 modalites combined together. The LED light is placed overtop of the needled area while you are enjoying acupuncture bliss. *In the same way that plants use chlorophyll to convert sunlight into energy, high intensity light emitting diodes (LEDs) utilizing specific, proven wavelengths of light that can trigger a natural biostimulatory effect in human tissue. Acutonics is the stimulation of acupuncture points with tuning forks to stimulate the therapeutic effect of the points, which can be used to treat the whole scope of acupuncture indicated therapies. This style of treatment is recommended for those with needle anxiety, as well as paediatrics.
NADA protocol – a total of 10 acupuncture points (5 tiny needles inserted on each ear). This standardized auricular acupuncture has many applications but particularly for: addiction support (e.g., substances (alcohol, smoking, recreational drugs, food and habits)), pain management for those undergoing cancer treatment, for mental calmness from stress and anxiety.
This standardized auricular acupuncture treatment consists of five tiny needles inserted into the external ear on each side. Cosmetic Acupuncture is a natural alternative to Botox injections and other medical cosmetic treatments. Utilizing fire & glass cups, a vacuum is created in the glass cup. This creates negative pressure that will stimulate circulation, and relieve muscle tension.
