Samantha is a Registered Psychotherapist who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, adults, and parents with warmth, compassion, and evidence-based care. She is dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
Samantha holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. She takes an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while incorporating attachment-based, mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices.
She has experience working with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, emotion regulation difficulties, stress and burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and trauma. Samantha works collaboratively with clients to develop practical strategies, build insight, and support meaningful, lasting change.

This appointment is meant for pregnant mothers and parents who are wanting to have an additional session to review their birth preferences, activities and tools to prepare for labour and birth, as well as review pushing strategies. This should be booked between weeks 34-38 of pregnancy.
This appointment focuses on the hands-on techniques for pregnant mothers and birthing partners to practice labour positioning, pain management, as well as breathing and pushing techniques. This session should be booked when you're between weeks 32-34 of pregnancy.
This appointment is specific for pregnant & expectant parents that would like to learn about optimizing their birth experience through strategies like labour positioning, pain management, and pushing techniques. If you're scheduled to have a cesarean section, you will learn how to optimize your birth and recovery experience. Our physiotherapist uses your birth preferences, and the information guidelines from the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada and Association of Midwives of Ontario to inform your consultation.This session should be booked between weeks 28-32 of pregnancy.

This 75-minute workshop, co-facilitated by Carmina Sahota, Registered Psychotherapist and Alysha Saks, Acupuncturist, will invite participants to explore the many forms of rest - physical, mental, emotional, social and sensory - and their essential role in restoring balance and resilience. No foundation of mindfulness is required.
