_“I believe a good health practitioner is someone who can remain humble, curious, compassionate and maintain an open mind. After years of practice, I still uphold these values, maybe even more so! My treatment philosophy aligns with the fundamentals of Traditional Chinese Medicine – health is an ongoing process of maintaining balance within the body. Locate the root or underlying cause of your issue in order to construct lasting change – supporting your body’s ability to perform its natural functions optimally with minimal interventions. I believe taking the time to go over all the variables and individual needs is vital to each person’s journey, I never want a patient to feel unheard. Collaboration, consistency and understanding are fundamental in achieving positive results with Chinese Medicine. I love being a pivotal part of my patients’ healthcare team! To be able to build long-lasting relationships, and see my patients through all their stages! Come for acute or chronic conditions and then to maintain health and longevity! I love what Chinese medicine can do and after all these years I still find myself incredibly passionate and humbled by this job!” - Dr. Yip_

AcuSculpting is a specialized cosmetic acupuncture protocol designed to shape, lift, tighten and firm the skin on face & body (Superior: Face + Scalp, Anterior: Abdomen, Breast(s) & legs & Posterior: hips, thighs & buttocks). In our first session, we will discuss one area of focus (e.g., minimizing the appearance of fine lines on the face, stimulating hair growth on scalp, fibrocystic breast(s), scars/ hyperpigmentation etc.). Once the acupuncture needles are inserted an LED light is placed over the area of focus. The LED light promotes cellular proliferation, collagen synthesis and helps with the reduction of inflammation. We will finish with a hot towel treatment and either silicone cupping and/ or Gua Sha. Be advised that bruising or hyperpigmentation has a chance of occurring during the week post-treatment. For chronic areas, a minimum of 10 treatments is advised. Packages are available.

Acutonics is the stimulation of acupuncture points with tuning forks to stimulate the therapeutic effect of the points, which can be used to treat the whole scope of acupuncture indicated therapies. This style of treatment is recommended for those with needle anxiety, as well as paediatrics.
This standardized auricular acupuncture treatment consists of five tiny needles inserted into the external ear on each side. The NADA protocol is indicated as complimentary therapy in the treatment of trauma, addiction, mental health and pain conditions, and has been shown to improve the treatment outcomes for these conditions. This therapy helps to shift the nervous system out of “fight or flight”, reducing cortisol and balancing neurotransmitters to help the body enter a state where healing can occur.

Cosmetic Acupuncture is a natural alternative to Botox injections and other medical cosmetic treatments. In cosmetic Acupuncture, we focus on the health of the skin through a holistic lens that addresses the whole body as well as local symptoms and manifestations. In these sessions, fine needles are inserted into the dermal layer of the skin, which stimulates collagen and elastin production, to rejuvenate the skin, promote circulation and enhance cellular rejuvenation. Muscle tension is reduced through motor point needling, facial massage, gua sha and cupping, which allows the surrounding skin to relax, reducing the appearance and preventing the creation of fine lines and wrinkles. Contributing factors to skin symptoms such as acne, rosacea, puffiness, uneven complexion and early aging skin, such as stress, emotional overwhelm, inflammation and deficiency symptoms are addressed as the foundation of health in this system of therapy Dr Sage is trained in both traditional cosmetic acupuncture, Mei Zen cosmetic acupuncture, and motor point needling
A less extensive cosmetic treatment, focusing on acupuncture needles as the primary therapy.
