During the initial intake therapy session, our Nurse Psychotherapist will gather information about your personal histories, discuss current concerns and challenges, and together you will map out goals for therapy. This session serves as a foundation for our work together, ensuring a fulfilling and productive journey towards a smoother transition to parenthood.

Most of this first counselling visit is spent talking through what has been happening, how long it has been weighing on you, and what feels hardest right now — with the rest on clarifying patterns, goals, and boundaries so you leave knowing how the work together could be structured.
